Ways to Treat Pseudomyopia

In the present time, the number of children who suffer blurry vision is on the rise. Most people who have pseudomyopia are primary or middle school students. Their vision gets worse in a quite quick way within one to two months. They can’t see objects clearly because of improper use of their eyes. So they are susceptible to the pseudomyopia. If they don’t have treatment in time, the false myopia is likely to become the true myopia and leads to some bigger problems. The earlier you treat pseudomyopia for your children, the healthier their eyes are.

If people do excessive work or use eyes intensively for a long time, they may suffer from the continuity of ciliary muscle contraction and withered regulation section spasm. Overuse of eyes causes dizziness, vision loss and other symptoms of vision. This increases the refractive power of eyes. So pseudomyopia occurs. However, pseudomyopia can be treated and eliminated by the following ways:

Reading

It is important for you to have correct posture and don’t hold reading material too close to your eyes. Otherwise your vision may become blurry after a few days.

Staring

Relax your eye muscles by means of staring. First, choose an object that is far away from you. And then begin to stare at it for some times. Also you can choose two distant objects and stare at them one by one. If so, your eye muscles are likely to get relaxed. As we know, tiring muscles may lead to pseudomyopia so it is crucial to relax eye muscles as much as possible.

Eye concentration

There is another way that helps to strengthen your eyes. You can stare at a distant object with only one eye and then switch to another one. If so, you are able to strengthen your eyes individually. It is believed that staring at green plants will alleviate eye fatigue and pseudomyopia. So you’d better stare at green plant after you read for an hour.

Other options

You may choose the eye drops consisting of mydriatics and cycloplegics for the purpose of treating pseudomyopia. What’s more, do more outdoor exercises because playing enough outdoor sports contributes to the health of eyes.

Generally speaking, Mothers should pay much attention to protect their children from defective vision. Having good habits of protecting vision is of great importance as well as prevention.
