Natural Products for Proper Hair Care

Exactly what are ‘natural’ goods regarding hair care?

Simply what does the term ‘natural’ truly suggest in the hair shampoo or hairdressing item?

I think, not sure is abused more than ‘natural’ within the beauty business (a detailed next would be ‘low fat’, over used widely through the meals business). Content label right after label mention this kind of term proudly, preferably within vibrant, green letters. It, needless to say, really helps to fool the buyer in to assuming how the method is more natural of computer really is, that everything has been made and bottled in a few unusual field yourself instead of some dark as well as greyish stockroom simply by equipment.

Inside the purest a sense the word, something will be really natural whether it contained no chemical compounds in any way. If the components list of an item does not have any vague, substance sounding titles, then you can properly state that it is natural.

Yet to be perfectly truthful, no merchandise may be completely ‘natural’. Whether it were like that, it probably probably would not previous on your rack for over a few days. Therefore every hair shampoo, moisturizing hair product, pick-me-up, and so on. has to have specific chemical substances to act because preservatives when very little else.

Lots of Ayurveda products tell you they are ‘natural’. Ayurveda, which is an old Indian medical science that employs herbal remedies, spices or herbs, fresh fruits along with other components with regard to formulating remedies, is largely natural and chemical free. It is possible to produce Ayurveda treatments at home your self, even though many organisations are available these on the web and from health stores these days. A single Ayurveda locks tonic, as an example, employs an assortment of coconut and jasmine acrylic, in addition to remove regarding amla (Native indian gooseberry), ‘shikakai’ as well as henna. This mix can be produced at home and is completely wonderful for your head of hair.

Ayurveda, however, is still at the fringes from the hair care market. Not enough people learn about this plus a larger amount nonetheless uncertainty its efficacy. Inside the well known proper hair care as well as beauty industry, it really is not possible to locate totally natural products for hair care. Probably the most respectable organizations in the business : Aveda : that we recommend very, readily admits that its items are mostly based on vegetation but keep from while using term ‘natural’. Even so, the business tries to make use of merely the bare minimum quantity of chemical compounds, and uses only those it deems essential to lengthen the shelf-life of their products, or perhaps produce suds (consumers rarely believe in any wash that does not create suds) along with other eye appealing results (shade, smell, etc.).

What you need to be aware of are synthetic ingredients within the ingredients list. An ingredient should either become produced from natural sources, or perhaps ought to explicitly be described as a chemical substance. Natural aloe vera as well as jojoba oil acrylic – 2 typical elements in many hairdressing products – tend to be based on artificial sources but are not credited as such inside the components record. Therefore be cautious associated with products that promise these two components.

I would also like to point out the actual fetishism that has turned out to be from the term ‘natural’. Because one thing is actually natural doesn’t mean it is actually healthy for you. Petrochemicals tend to be totally natural, however clog up up pores and are really bad for your hair. Therefore rather than seeking explicitly with regard to natural goods with regard to hair care, take a a lot more alternative breakdown of the item. Whether or not this tries to reduce the use of chemical compounds, as well as shies from making use of man made variations regarding components, you’ll be able to be sure that it’s a sure thing.

What You should Know About Hair Loss and Proper Hair Care

You maybe seeing and envying people around you crowned with beautiful lavish hair while you are wondering why yours is getting thinner and receding.  Or you’re maybe one of many who spend time each day in front of the mirror worrying and carefully inspecting their hair.

While losing hair is much of a worry for men and women alike, there’s something you should know about the hair cycle and the proper hair care to keep yours healthy thus preventing hair loss.  These are the things you should know about hair loss and proper hair care.

Your scalp may contain an average of about 100,000 hairs.  It continues to grow for only two to six years and then it falls out and a new hair starts to grow from the same pore.  There are 70 to 100 hairs fall out naturally every day.

Now the hair cycle consists of different phases:

  1. The growing phase.
  2. The transition phase.
  3. The resting phase.

It is in the resting phase where the hair remains in the follicle until the next growing phase.  Awaiting for a new hair to grow and pushes the old hair out of the follicle. At any given time, there are 85 to 90 percent of hairs are in active phase, 10 to 15 percent will be in the resting phase and 1 percent in the transition phase.

To keep the normal cycle, the scalp must be taken care of properly.  Other than hereditary, factors such as stress, sickness, skin disease, pregnancy, malnutrition and others can disturb the cycle and the scalp may shed hairs before the cycle completes.  Thus resulting in hair loss. The new hair may grow but thinner, fine and short-lived and eventually none will grow.

Well, hereditary or not taking care of the scalp is vital to keep the cycle normal.  Sufficient nutrition and improving blood circulation to the scalp are essential. Avoid excessive dieting. You are starving your scalp with nutrients.  Changing lifestyle also may greatly contribute. A good sleep and a stress free life.

Nourishing with natural herbs and essential oils will keep it healthy.  Massage scalp gently using the ball of your fingers carefully.  Gentle and relaxing massage can improve blood circulation. Scratching it with your nails will irritate the scalp.  So don’t rush.  Just relax, close your eyes and massage gently while smelling the aroma of oils.  It is not only good for your scalp and hair but relaxes you as well.

Proper combing is also very important.  Do not brush your hair with too much force.  If you have a long hair it is better initially not to brush through from the root to the end.   Rather, hold your hair and use the brush to untangle the ends. Then brush the middle to the end and finally let your hair down and slowly brush from the root to the end.

Finally keep it clean and groomed always.

What is the Best Hair Loss Treatment

For those who wish to sidestep surgery and chemicals, there are some natural remedies available. Scalp massage is supposed to promote blood flow in the hair follicles, which in turn causes hair to grow.

Nettles are rich in vitamins A and C, several key minerals and lipids that can be beneficial to the hair. Nettle Root Extract has been used successfully in Europe as an inhibitor of 5-alpha reductase in treating BPH. As mentioned earlier, 5-alpha reductase is a key component in turning testosterone into DHT, the substance that causes the atrophy of hair follicles. Therefore there is great promise in its use as a component in natural hair loss treatments.

Alopecia areata is hair loss that occurs in small, round and smooth patches. The Mayo Clinic also notes that injections are usually performed monthly. You may notice new hair four weeks after the injection. Your doctor may prescribe corticosteroid pills for extensive hair loss. In addition, cortisone ointments and creams may also be used to treat hair loss; however, they may be less effective than injections.

Zinc. Oral zinc supplements prevent conversion of testosterone into DHT. Rosemary and sage are two herbs that have shown benefit traditionally when used externally. It is suggested that to promote a clean scalp, stimulation of the hair root, and thickening hair one should boil together in water rosemary, sage, peach leaf, nettle and burdock.

Jojoba oil is great for hypoallergenic skin by being a great moisturizer and mimicking the scalp’s own sebum. It absorbs readily into the scalp and helps remove deposits of sebum from the hair follicles, neutralizes acidity, and nourishes the scalp with all the B vitamins, vitamin E, silicon, copper, zinc, chromium, and iodine.

In your bedroom, the easiest way to create a moist healing environment is by buying a warm-heat humidifier. This will not only increase the moisture in your bedroom’s air, but will raise the temperature. This should create a “growing atmosphere” which will help restore and revitalize your scalp.

There is also a prescription only drug called spironolactone that instead of raising estrogen levels, works in the opposite way by slowing down the production of androgens (testosterone) in the adrenal glands and ovaries. With less testosterone produced there is less damaging DHT produced and therefore less hair loss.

Wigs Hair Pieces for Necessary Wearers – those suffering from the after effects of Chemo Treatment and Alopecia

Focus: Necessity Wearers – Temporary Hair Loss for Asian Ladies

With the evolvement of technology, ladies in the West (UK, EU, USA) now have hair-wear options they never dreamed possible. Whether it is for a personal use, a social occasion, catwalk show or even a magazine shoot – there are such versatile and durable styles of Wigs being manufactured that aims at creating a variety of stunning looks with that added sophistication.

Wigs were once so obvious that they would be noticed a mile away and hence people were embarrassed. Today with the latest technique and near human hair type look and feel of the fibre used, a person could be stood right next to you and could even be touching your hair and they would not know. The stigma has disappeared in the West – UK, Europe, USA about wearing a wig.

While in the West the necessasity wearers are no longer deprived of their self esteem by exposing their scanty or falling hair as they can easily resort to wearing a Wig, in the Indian Sub Continent, the stigma is still very much on.

It is therefore the sincere intention of the writer to try to remove these barriers and myth about Wigs and Hair pieces.

There is the most urgent and alarmingly neglected segment in this society of Necessity Wearers whose psycological effect and feelings due to the loss of hair – (be it suddenly due to being told that they have cancer and hence will undergo Chemo and thereby are told that they would lose their hair in the next week or so ……or those who suffer from a Hair Falling problem that is commonly called Alopecia) is totally supressed and overlooked.

People with Cancer are more traumatized by the loss of their hair than being told they have cancer. One of the first questions anyone asks the doctor when they are told about having to undergo Chemo therapy is “will I lose my hair?” The answer in most cases is ‘Yes’ unfortunately.

These people include but not limited to those girls and ladies within the age bracket of 15 to 60 who suffer from Hair Loss.

In UK and Europe, these ladies will seek out a wig before they loose their hair so when the dreaded day comes they can begin wearing their wig and this avoids them having to go through the embarrassment of being seen without their hair. In India such a facility has not been available until now.

Needless to say that Hair on the head is considered a lady’s ‘crown glory’ and hence for whatever reason if they begin to lose it, the psychological effect it has on her self-esteem and confidence is beyond words. The most common cause of Hair Loss is Alopecia and temporary loss of hair due to Cancer treatment – Chemo Therapy.

it is therefore important that they are made aware that with all other things that have evolved, this product too has now evolved to make it look as natural as one’s own natural hair. One can easily obtain a Wig that suits one’s style and colour of hair and these Wigs are made in Natural looking Synthetic Fibre from Japan or from a more versatile fibre called High Heat Fibre which allows one to curl and tong their Hair Piece or are also made from 100% Human Hair.

Moreover these products are now made in Bulk and hence are affordable to the average earning family.

Wig is almost like cosmetic surgery for your hair without the pain or the cost.

Profile of Fibre/ Hair Used in Wigs and Hair Pieces:

Synthetic wigs and hairpieces are made with a highly superior Japanese Kanekalon fibre that not only looks like natural European hair but also feels like natural European hair. They come in beautiful colours that never fade. This is a very versatile fibre that retains its shape after washing – as long as one follows the After-Care Instructions that come with the product. Also the fine texture of the fibre makes it a desirable choice for simulating the texture of human hair.

High-Heat Fibre have better features that make the fibre feel “just like human hair” with certain inbuilt characteristics such as being able to use high heat up to 180 degrees. Hence one can curl or tong them and then straighten them again. One can therefore use heated rollers, curling/straightening irons and hair dryers on these products. These fibres pass tests by experts in the UK. The Fibre is Monocrylic Flame Retardant and Non Flammable.

Human Hair Wigs: These are considered the High End Hair Pieces due to the Remy Human Hair being used. These are more often used by ladies who have a long-term purpose of using a wig. It could well be for fashion or a permanent hair problem too.

How to Prevent and Stop Hair Loss For Good

There can be many reasons why we suddenly start losing too much hair. Here are some of the main causes and how to remedy to them naturally and effectively.

A cup or more of mint leaves should be pulverized until a fine “juice” extract is produced. Combine ¼ cup of juice with all the mint extract. Apply a few drops directly to the scalp spot while the hair is still damp, using a dropper or swab. Style as usual.

Sometimes we just cannot help it, it’s in our genes. This does not mean we are at a standstill! By using effective tonics such as Alma oil boiled in coconut oil as well as alma juice mixed with the same amount of lime juice, a great substitute for shampoo, you will promote hair growth and stop hair loss. This is probably one of the best and effective home remedies.

If you massage your scalp for a few minutes each day, this can stimulate blood flow to the hair follicles. Massage is one of the natural hair loss remedies available with no side effects. If you have mobility problems, you can ask someone else to massage your head for you. The essential oils and base oil can be purchased from any health shop.

To get back strong and silky hair, you need to take high content of proteins, vitamins, Iron, B-vitamin in specific and sulfur content. This is the first tip in hair loss treatment for men. It is always recommended to follow natural ways to treat any ailments and hair care is not excluded. There are lots of hair fall therapies available in the products. However, it is not good to use chemical products which can damage your hair and skin to a greater extent.

It’s easy! Just keep your hair clean. Wash it regularly and stimulate the scalp with cold water. Rub your scalp with garlic, ginger or onion juice, this will also stimulate the sebaceous glands and promote hair growth. Never mix the three together!

You can use lavender oil, rosemary oil or coconut oil to massage your scalp. These oils are rich in vitamin and mineral content and strengthen your hair. If there is no improvement after using natural ways, you can go for hair loss products for men. There are various oils and pastes which help your hair grow stronger and firmer. You can undergo medical treatment or even have hair transplantation if required.

Short Term Hair Removal Options For Men

With the advent of the metrosexual man, who is as concerned as his female counterpart, about factors such as physical grooming, hair removal for men has become a very important subject. With women, interest in and knowledge about hair removing methods is something that seems to come about almost naturally, however men may feel a little at a loss.

Women do tend to know that hair removal products and methods include the usual – waxing, epilating, shaving, using depilatory creams and so on and that more long term solutions can be brought about by using laser hair removal or electrolysis. The same methods can work for men as well though there are pros and cons regarding each.

Waxing as a Hair Removal Option for Men – it isn’t just the sticky waxes of days gone past, but today creamy lotions that stick only to the skin are also offered by salons that do men’s waxing. Depending upon what and how much area is required to be waxed, the procedure could take between 10 and 60 minutes. This can be done in pretty much any area – the neck and ears, eyebrows, forehead, arms, legs, underarms, back, chest and yes even the genital area, though this, it has to be said, is not for the faint hearted, as it can really hurt. Full body waxing for men may not be offered by all salons, so check to see which ones do and if you have never had waxing done before, it is best to have it done professionally.

Shaving to Remove Male Body Hair – Long hinged handles on shavers mean that men can reach any area of the back, the shoulders and even the rear end or buttocks. Shaving may come easy to men as most include shaving in their daily grooming routine. However this offers only a short or limited period of hairlessness and within practically a few hours the hair will start to appear again. There is also the problem of ingrown hair which can be painful and may even lead to skin infections. Also after a few days, there will be stiff, uncomfortable stubble to deal with here.

Using Depilatory Creams to Remove Male Body Hair – This can be a hassle free and painless way to remove hair – just apply the cream, wait for some minutes and then scrape it off along with the hair. The down side to this kind of hair removal is that it may cause adverse skin reactions for certain people, because of the chemical content. It can cause rashes, redness, bumpiness of skin and burning or itching. Some may find that depilatory creams cause blistering and so this may not be suitable for sensitive skins. For the same reason, it may not be able to be used in the genital area since the skin here is sensitive too. This is also a short term solution for hair removal after which the hair will grow back.

So depending upon their tolerance for pain and personal preferences, the appropriate hair removal method can be chosen by men.
